There's something amazing to be said for that type of education, though, right? The soul-feeding and cup-filling kind. I didn't even think about making a career of it until 2016 when - listen to this - someone offered to pay me to do what I enjoyed doing. My mind was blown. It turned out I didn't have to be a corporate drone! I could do what I enjoyed AND get paid! 

Listen. Full disclosure: if I hadn't had bootleg copies of Photoshop and Dreamweaver in my teenage years, I wouldn't be where I am today. (It's been over 20 years. I'm safe to admit that now, right?) I studied business management, but I grew up building websites, drawing and creating whatever I could in whatever Adobe products I could get my mitts on.  (Don't worry, I'm a card carrying Creative Cloud member now!)
